If you’re involved in the industrial solar field, this is a potentially very lucrative move, with an industrial / commercial renewables provider that has a unique renewables proposition.
I’m working for a company that’s been around since the early 1990s and has a portfolio of famous industrial and commercial renewable energy users.
The business is active across on-site solar, gas and biogas generation, supplying and maintaining systems in return for energy payments governed by a straightforward DPPA.
Not only is there no CAPEX or OPEX requirement from customers, but energy cost savings are guaranteed, with parallel grid connection underpinning competitiveness.
With energy price spikes and the threat of insecurity from current events, there’s a strong pipeline of enquiries from manufacturers, process operators and other high energy users.
Not to mention a compelling business case with which to convert them.
Solutions selling. C-Suite level.
You’ll typically be working with Finance Directors, Directors of Operations, and Senior Site Managers to explore their energy requirements and identify optimum solutions.
Your focus will be on solar, advising customers on the financial, operational and legislative aspects of generating cheaper, greener, more secure energy on-site.
There’ll be operational questions to answer around powering large sites reliably, advice sought on grant availability to energy certificates, and agreements to negotiate and agree.
Sales value is generally £100K to £1.5M, with a remarkably short time to close, thanks to the company’s strong pre-sales support and streamlined commercial process.
And backing all this up is the company’s track record. Delivering projected 6 and 7 figure savings for the type of large energy user base they serve. Case studies available.
I’m looking for people who have strong experience of the industrial solar generation market, with a sales track record to match.
You’ll be first and foremost a commercial specialist, with excellent senior level solution sales skills, gained selling to large industrial energy users and private solar generators.
In addition, you’ll understand renewable applications, site operational challenges, energy trading, public funding framework and emissions targets.
And you’ll be able to develop your own business pipelines (while benefiting from a healthy pipeline of qualified sales leads).
