Heat Pump Field Engineer
Up to £45,000
North West England
Join one of the industry’s true pioneers and make the most of the coming opportunities, as the heat pump revolution takes hold!
Welcome to the future
I’m working with one of the UK’s longest-established heat pump distributors. They’ve a decade’s experience of working with the top manufacturers, including Samsung, Hitachi and Midea.
During that time, they’ve developed a matchless technical capability across the entire ground source /air source design, specification, installation, and maintenance spectrum.
In many ways, they’ve written the rulebook, while tackling high end commercial and domestic projects with leading manufacturers, specifiers, installers and end-users.
In line with their continued expansion of the services they offer their customer base, the company is looking for a key individual to provide field support.
It’s a great opportunity to work with one of the industry trail blazers and it could well see you building your own team, if that’s something that interests you.
More about the job
There’ll be real variety. You’ll combine hands-on maintenance and repair work with advising / supporting customers throughout the design, specification and installation processes.
It will also be about building and maintaining professional relationships. You’ll be the technical face of the company on-site, so you should certainly enjoy working with customers’ engineers and specifiers.
The third element is installer training. The company’s manufacturer certified and has a large, respected course library which will give you all the tools you need to train others and keep your own skills up-to-date.
As for the future, there are plenty of options, including potential team leadership, a specialist training role or even technical sales. Or carry on happily as you are!
If you like the sound of it, get in touch and I can tell you more.
I’m looking for an experienced Heat Pump Engineer with a strong installation and maintenance background, and a sound knowledge of the key products and principles.
Design and specification experience would also be useful, but the company can train and mentor you in the techniques and proprietary software they use to optimise solutions.
There’ll be frequent travel to sites across the country, so you’ll need a full UK driving licence and a willingness to spend some nights away.
Beyond this, it’s just about bringing the energy, customer focus and technical flair needed to do a great job.
Rewards / get in touch
The company’s ready to invest in you and can offer you a long-term career with excellent training. There’ll also be a decent salary and benefits, including;
5% matched pension upon completion of probation
All specialist tools provided
