National Sales Manager
£45,000 basic salary + excellent commission prospects + benefits
Establish and lead the sales operation for a leading innovator of electric heating systems. Sell unbeatable next generation, ‘smart’ systems to specifiers, developers and end users.
With the UK phasing out gas-fired boilers in the next few years, the future of home and commercial heating is very much electric.
My client was very early to the party. A well-financed construction products group, they established a division 5 years ago to design / manufacture next generation heating systems.
The resulting products, including electric radiators and infrared panels, are stylish, efficient, and fully controllable via digital / smart home technologies.
The range has been continually refined through close collaboration with specifiers, developers and end users, who’ve been their principle source of business.
With the market accelerating fast, the company wants to appoint a high calibre sales manager, to personally develop new business and build a national sales organisation.
The job you’ve been waiting for?
This one’s got a lot to commend it!
Promote and sell innovative heating solutions to receptive customers who are actively searching for alternatives alternatives to gas heating.
Evangelise and demonstrate a new wave of products that combine stylish design with ingenious engineering to make ‘electric’ a compelling option once again.
Work for a supportive, down-to-earth MD who’ll give you the support you need, and the autonomy you want, to pursue your ideas and get the job done.
Design and build your national sales operation from scratch. Then develop it long-term, as you share in the company’s growing success.
We’re looking for someone with solid experience of selling technical products or systems to specifiers, modular builders and property developers.
You’ll be a great presenter and relationship builder, who can only close sales but also communicate new technical concepts to this specialist audience.
Solutions selling will be key to the role – feeding back requirements to the technical team, both to meet customer needs and pursue interesting new product developments.
And then of course, you’ll need to have what it takes to establish and lead a new sales organisation, including people, systems and strategy.
Total first year earnings, with commission, are likely to be around £60,000, but this should ramp up quickly to £80,000 and beyond as the business grows.
Just to be clear, the company’s owned by serial entrepreneurs who have a fantastic track record of creating winning businesses in innovative market spaces.
You’ll have a solid platform on which to build an attractive career and lifestyle in a lovely part of Northern England.
